My dog was rushed in as an emergency. Unfortunately although they tried their absolute best the team couldn't save him. Both he and my husband were treated with compassion and understanding and I cannot thank them enough for allowing us to take all the time we needed to say our last goodbyes. RIP Ronnie 🙏 😔

I can't thank the team at Scarsdale Vets Alfreton enough. Their professionalism, support and compassion during my elderly cats final moments were absolutely wonderful. Plenty of assurance and understanding for an elderly little chaps passing.

The team at Alfreton are honest highly skilled informative and trustworthy. It’s a completely different experience to other vets when you’re vulnerable with your pet. Unusually they look out for the cost as best they can too. I highly recommend this wonderful team. Particularly Wendy and Anna

I don't tend to write reviews, but Anna absolutely deserves it. I took my little Silkie Daisy to see her, Anna took her time, explained everything to me, gave me knowledge about chickens (as I'm a novice). She went out her way to contact other specialist in chickens to see if there was anything that could be done to help Daisy. Anna showed such compassion with a difficult conversation, explained everything to me in the most beautiful way. I will definitely be returning if I have anymore issues with any of my other chickens. Whilst I am here I have to commend Wendy... Wendy was absolutely incredible when I called in abit of a flap. The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. Thankyou for everything. Couldn't be happier with the Alfreton branch of Scarsdale Vets. All the staff we have met on our visits there have been so kind and friendly and above all have treated my very nervous dog with respect and kindness, they seem to understand nervous dogs well and I feel they go out of their way to make sure he has a positive experience at the vets, even though he isn't an easy dog when it comes to vet care, and they gave him the extra consideration he really needs, something I don't feel is often the case elsewhere. I feel like they really know their stuff and I trust the information they give us. We haven't always had the best vet experiences to say the least and I never leave my dog with anyone so was so nervous today when he had to go in for xrays but I really felt I could trust the team to look after him and do right by him which is unusual as I really don't trust people to be kind to him or understand him. Thank you all so much for giving a nervous dog and nervous human such a positive experience today, you are all very much appreciated! We live quite a long drive from Alfreton but it is worth every minute- will happily recommend you to anyone. Hopefully he'll be back to his normal outdoorsy lifestyle and normal self soon thanks to all of you.
