The staff here are very compassionate and caring. However the prices are absolutely extortionate. I appreciate that it is more expensive to run out of hours clinics and I was made aware on the phone of a £300+ consultation fee for my cat to be seen last night. I was then informed that overnight emergency care would be £1500-£1600 which isn't affordable for myself as a single income household. I explained this and was told in which case the kindest thing to do would be for my beloved cat to be PTS. I was told my bill was £455.55, but that for an individual cremation and casket I would have to pay another £400+ on top of what I had already paid. This would have left my bill at over £800. I don't think it's fair to say that this companies priority is animals and saving them when they make it damn near impossible for anyone to afford life saving treatment. Then still making it extortionate to have a pet PTS, which you have to accept and pay because the alternative is to take the pet home and let the whole family watch them suffer and die? Not a choice that anyone would make. Ultimately I paid £455.55 just to be seen and for my cat to be PTS. I now have to decide whether to go with a different crematorium that can offer me a more reasonable price.

Open 6pm to 8am as emergency out of hours. Grateful to receive such quick service when we needed it for a cat with a glass cut. Was seen within 10 mins. Vet nurse dealt with him so they waived the vet consultancy fee which was good. If your vet is a partner practice all the notes etc get sent over which is great.

We saw Lottie with our Lab who had a secondary pneumothorax. She was absolutely brilliant and can’t thank her enough for what she did. Buddy now had two sessions at his normal vet and still trying to get all air drained. Praying his lungs heal. Thanks to all there.

Brought my beautiful cat Missy here after being referred by Crofts, she’d been in a RTA earlier that day. They were kind and gentle with her and me. The vet was very compassionate and I’ve never experienced such a kind and caring person in such an emotional awful situation. This team deserves the recognition and I am just so grateful for them.

I had 2 cats put down here from poisoning and I cannot stress enough how amazing this vets was. Unfortunately there was nothing they could do for my cats and the vets were very prompt and clear with what was happening. They didn’t sugarcoat anything or give any false hope which is what my family needed in that terrible time. They let us take our time even when it was past 2 in the morning, they were extremely respectful and kind. Gave us the space to say goodbye and gave us comfort. I know it’s a morbid review! And probably shouldn’t be a good experience! But these vets were angels to us and if they can do that during a horrible time, it proves they really do care about pets and their owners. Thank you all at vetsnow for being such amazing people and caring deeply for our cats and our family. We owe so much to you guys!
