Day 3 of my holiday 2 week holiday in Buxton, my SharPei ripped 2 claws off and sprained her toes. I had managed to bandage it myself when she first did it so I could get to the vet. She needed to be seen every 2 days and the love and care they showed here was amazing, a young dog in great pain and they managed to calm her and help with pain medication. We visited 4 times over the holiday until she could be treated by our normal vet. Thankyou so much.

Thank-you very much for seeing our dog Albie at such short notice (we are on holiday near Buxton). He was assessed by Jasmine at the Overdale Vets Practice who soon diagnosed and provided advice and medication for Albie. 48hrs on from the visit he is much better and now has his old spring in his step again. I’m trying to type this without crying, I brought my dog to be castrated here on the 2/5/25 we followed the after care procedure very well. However, we noticed after the op he was slowly getting worse his bum hole began to get swollen and sore and we noticed his right eye was becoming really bloodshot! So we made another appointment the following Wednesday and they said he was fine so we trusted their words and carried on as usual… however we noticed he was eating all of his food but not gaining any weight at all! We went back again to the vets the following Friday for a check up and they said he was fine again even though we had explained how he’s been and that he’s been eating all of his food but losing weight drastically! And he was beginning to wee and poo in the house even though he is well trained but then again we trusted their words again and just hoped for the best. The following day he died 2pm from a stroke/internal bleeding. My baby was only 9 months he had a whole life ahead of him😭 I would never go back here after all this I’ve never been so traumatised I put all my trust into this vet who killed my pup 💔

Believe it or not this big baby is probably the most fear reactive/fear aggressive dog I've ever come across. But I can't actually praise vet nurse Chloe enough for going above and beyond to help us make sure she is on top of her health checks and vaccines etc. Her compassion and knowledge and how she advocated for Storm and for us is just second to none and I'm forever grateful, overdale - never ever let her leave!!! Thank you so much!!

Lovely vets. All staff are very caring, compassionate and helpful. It you pet has to stay with them, they keep you updated with any issues.
