My sister uses Wilson’s vets in Spennymoor and duly informed I of a branch in Bishop Auckland of which I duly visited with my seizure medical alert dog. The appointment wasn’t rushed and duly explained all to I of which I came away feeling happy for Lola & I thanking you.

Another excellent visit to Wilson’s. Reception staff are always kind and helpful. I have a Romanian Rescue dog. It was so lovely to be with a vet today who could totally relate to my dog’s journey and attend to her so calmly and reassuringly from first to last contact. First class.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars – Amazing care and support We were transferred to Wilson’s Vets from Clifton Lodge due to concerns our cat had a blocked urethra. From start to finish, the team were so friendly, helpful, and reassuring during a very stressful time. We were given a private space in the cat waiting area to set up a litter tray, which made things much easier for our anxious cat. The lady working on reception kept checking on us and even offered supplies like a tray and poop bags, which was such a kind touch - thank you! The vet we saw was brilliant— (I think her name was Sarah) so kind, calm, and clear in explaining everything. Thankfully, our cat managed to pass urine while we were waiting, and the vet was just as relieved as we were! She gave really helpful advice on how we can support him going forward with environmental changes and long-term medication. Later on, when we had a quick question about medication side effects, we called the practice and were given an answer within five minutes, which really put our minds at ease. We honestly wish Wilson’s was our local vet to begin with. They were outstanding and we’d highly recommend them. Thank you so much.

Absolutely wonderful service, terrific staff. Our Molly was quite poorly and vet suspected pyometra but Molly was difficult to sedate due to being a covid pup and scared to death of the vets as her first vet visit was when she was 8 weeks old and confronted by a vet with face guard, mask, flapping pinny, gloves and all the PE equipment, who grabbed her and took her away from us to vaccinate!! Ever since then she has hated strangers. The team at wilsons who cared for Molly were Marta Rosario, Helen Lashley & Karen. They were wonderful with Molly and we eventually got her sedated and scanned after careful planning and she was given the all clear. Her problems are hormonal and she requires spaying, however, Wilsons don't do laparascopic spays for a dog Mollys Size 38kg so we are considering this carefully as would prefer to have this done laparascopic as it will be less stress and recovery time for our girl. We can however, highly recommend these vets and our thanks goes out to the wonderful team we had, Molly is recovering slowly

An excellent practice with very understanding and helpful staff from the receptionists through to the Veteranary Nurses and Vets. Our cat Poppy is receiving excellent treatment and we are kept fully informed of her prognosis. We have visited Spennymoor and Bishop Auckland practices and both have very pleasant staff. First rate Vets.
