Good Vets practice who treat ,with compassion and care but it's the veterinary nurses that are exceptional in my opinion. They see you, and somehow even though they're not the ones treating your pet they remember you and when you were last in , its remarkable so caring . I thank that nurse (wish l knew her name) who passed us the business cards (she's used same people for her beloved dog recntly ) to use for Our darling boy Ollie and his (dignified) journey 🌈 l thank her ❤️ so much for that 🙏 it's given us comfort and peace in the most horrendous , heartbreaking 💔difficult time

Appointment was very good with the young Australian Vet, up until the point I asked for a prescription to be issued so I could purchase pet medicines elsewhere. I was asked how much I could source the meds elsewhere (£11), they checked and it was more than DOUBLE from Clifton (£26). Someone called the vet through to the back and I could hear a discussion taking place. All of a sudden the prescription issue admin fee became the same price as it was to get my supply from Clifton (£26). Then I would have to pay the on-line cost (£11) too, trying to get me to just buy from Clifton.. The vet also told me they could email me the prescription to me, but after the conversation in the back room I was told Clifton could not issue the prescription to me personally and asked for the website I was using and said they had to email it too them. How can this be? On the website for the meds you can upload a photo of the prescription. Unfair tactics and I came away without any Meds for my dog I find this pressure tactics to make me purchase the higher priced medication from Clifton. Very disappointing as I have been a loyal customer of Clifton for many, many years and I just want to save some money where I can.

I’ve got probably one of the most awkward dogs in the world, he don’t want something to happen then it won’t. Bertie my beloved Bassett Hound doesn’t like the vet, he has some sort of phobia is the way I can explain it. Here they showed compassion, patience and care towards Bertie. He’s had the male operation and jabs here every time he gave them and me a hard time. Eventually they persevered to do what needed to be done. He actually came out wagging his tail the little ….. It’s a lovely place very friendly, tell you exactly what’s going on, what they need to do. From the Receptionists to the nurses and vets all very friendly, I certainly would recommend. I feel confident that Bertie is getting the best care.

We have been using this vet for 3 years. They have always given a first class service. The vets are thorough and approachable and very happy to talk through any concerns. They have a scheme whereby you pay a monthly sum and for this you get 2 health checks per year, annual booster and flea worming treatment and discounts on various surgical procedures. One of my cats had dental work and the cost was less than estimated. One of the cats has an over active thyroid which requires ongoing treatment. The vet sends the claim form to the insurer in a timely manner and the claim is usually settled within a week. Would recommend this practice.

My cat took ill while I was away on holiday. He wasn’t registered here but they got him an emergency appointment and took extremely good care of him the entire time he was with them. Extremely kind and compassionate staff. Thank you so much for looking after my boy ❤️
