I would highly recommend this vets, they are all soo nice and very helpful. We have recently had to say goodbye to our amazing boy, the staff were soo supportive and let us stay as long as we wanted even though they had closed.

I can’t recommend Seaham Vets highly enough. The staff are incredibly professional and have gone above and beyond to provide exceptional care for our very poorly and nervous dog, Zak. They were available on short notice when we needed them, and their compassion really put us at ease. Aftercare has been outstanding— they've even called to check on him multiple times, which truly shows how much they care. We’re so grateful for their support and expertise. I called the vets concerned about my cats breathing on Saturday morning, they booked me in within 15 mins and straight away saw me, my cat heart gave up and she did die while we were there but the vets were amazing, they lit a candle showing I was mourning my cat so others entering would know, they gave me a care package with tissue, chocolate, candle, forget-me-not seeds and a note about support for mourning a pet, they also posted me a sympathy card with Shadows fur, nose print & paw prints... then when we collected shadow she was in a beautiful urn wrapped up all lovely, in a nice bag with a lovely certificate and again copies of her prints... nicely done, so much care and detail at such a hard time

I have always felt anxious during appointments since our old boy was put to sleep. However today I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Seaham Vets new permanent vet (Iggy) - hopefully that's how you spell his name! He is exactly what they have needed after seeing a number of locums that in my opinion haven't been great. Friendly, calm, reassuring, thorough, lovely with my dog, really listened and incredibly helpful, the list could go on! It was only when I came home that I realised my anxiety had completely gone. Fabulous addition to a great team.
