Cockburns Vets are the best veterinary practice that we have used, so much so that we have continued to use them for years after relocating. The team hold a range of up-to-date skills which means that our doggy boys always receive the best care and results. It is always possible to get a quick appointment with the same vet to ensure continuity of care and treatment. Maria has been the vet attending to our boys’ aging needs for the last couple of years including providing remarkable treatment for hip dislocation and dysplasia for Arto. She has performed a miracle through her own interventions and onward referral for related specialist services; providing essential advice to bring our boy to a place of unexpected recovery for which we will be eternally grateful. All of the team are friendly but professional and create a sense of safety and comfort during difficult times of ill health for Arto and Ru. We will continue to use Cockburns as long as it remains viable to travel with our boys as they are the most trusted practice that we have had the pleasure to use over many years as a pet family. Thank you

Cockburns have been great so far eith my three dogs. Reception staff are friendly and patient even when its busy! Alex has been great with the dogs, who are nervous wrecks at the vets! Alex was caring, patient and took the time to calm them down. Reassured me that paws, were in good hands. Thank you xx

Still heart broken over the loss of my bear where my chow chow was not treated and no investigation to why he stopped eating and drinking, after strong pain relief. Told stubborn chow,, no thorougher checks and VCMS was not able to fully support after no postmortem. I was not listened to and resulted in OOH and Jaffa died aged 3yrs after being a healthy chow despite many visits. Picture at the vets waiting for help, sadly didn’t get it.

We had been using Cockburn’s veterinary Practice since 2001 and we have stayed because we have always received the best customer service from the reception staff and the vets we have been involved with over the years with our dogs! The most recent vet we now ask to see for over the past year is Nyika and she is really caring and professional and really puts you at ease and gives the best treatment and explanation with options! Again we received all round good care and service and could not be happier that our doggies are in safe hands with Nyika. On a sad note it’s never easy saying goodbye to your beloved dog but Nyika made it less traumatic with her warm and caring approach as she had been dealing with our Maceys downward health for over a year and came to our house to help Macey and us with her final goodbye 🐶

All of my pets go to Cockburn Vets and I can't fault the care. Most recently my very elderly cat has been under the care of the very lovely vets. We've been able to consistently see the same two vets making sure he's had seamless continuity of care that's enabled him to see his 18th birthday! They're really clear and upfront about services and costs and referrals to specialists (I also have rabbits who need exotic vet care sometimes).
