Our little dog Maisey became very ill suddenly, with suspected Seasonal Canine Illness. The vets at the Grove including Honor-May, Alex and Ivo were so thorough and determined, they never gave up despite how helpless things seemed - thank you so much for saving her life, words can't describe how grateful we are

Great experience with The Grove. We were on holiday to a few days in Norfolk so they aren't our normal practice. Had an emergency with my Golden Retriever who had severe vomiting. They saw us in hours of calling..lovely practice, exceptional staff. Thank you especially to Victoria? I hope I remembered your name correctly.... on reception for being so welcoming xx

We were on holiday in Norfolk and our Daschund was attacked on the beach by a large dog off the lead and his back leg was injured. We thought it may be broken or his back damaged. The staff were all amazing from booking a quick appointment to seeing the wonderfully kind Vet. Everyone was very supportive as it was quite a traumatic experience. Thank you for your support and help and getting our dog Lucca back to full fitness. A great team.

My daughter’s cat was taken to this veterinary practice after being hit and killed. Sadly, we experienced no compassion from the staff when we arrived. We were made to wait in the communal waiting room while they prepared my daughter’s cat for her to say goodbye. When she was ready to leave, the receptionist began asking deeply personal and emotional questions about how she wanted her cat to be handled—right there in front of other clients and their pets. We were told they were “very busy” and that we would just have to wait for someone to speak with us. There was no kindness, understanding, or sensitivity—just a quick eagerness to hand over the cremation pack. Absolutely appalling.

Would not recommend this vet practice at all, especially to those with an anxious dog. Have been going here for 4 years with my dog, by now they should know she is anxious and how to approach her. Upon my visit for her boosters, I told them she did not like being restrained and is better with a vet/nurse who is confident around bigger / anxious dogs. The vet/nurse we had was visibly nervous jumping every time my dog moved - she was moving to stand behind me not toward the vet. I suggested putting a muzzle on her as I could see that the vet/nurse was anxious. The vet/nurse suggested taking my dog to a different room without me as she might be more calm, I agreed - they got me to walk my dog to this room and in the room was 4 other people - strangers to my dog which OBVIOUSLY made her more anxious. They proceeded to drag my dog away from me as I left the room. Anyone with an anxious dog will understand that this is disgusting practice from people who are supposed to know about dogs and other animals. I will not be bringing my dog back here, I am appalled by how she was treated. Get vets that are confident with all animals not just small ones and puppies. The only positive I have to say is that the reception staff are lovely and welcoming.
