Staff are fantastic, the vet I saw was really knowledgeable and the reception staff are so lovely. The one issue I have is the price which is huge for just the visit. I really think this should be looked at. People are bringing their pets in because they are desperate for treatment, and they are being charged triple an ordinary vet bill for the visit alone. I understand that out of hours will be more, but not that much!

Phoned Mill House Hospital in Kings Lynn Norfolk, arrived 30 mins after call, my dog Bear was choking and was trying to clear his throat, waited a short time before seeing the vet, vet checked him out, he had a high temperature, the said she believes he throat was clear. She gave him pain injection, it's a good service but it's very expensive for the amount of time you are there

The emergency out of hours cost is the biggest rip off going. My daughter and I took her 3 month pup to kings lynn . And before she put the phone down she was told it would be over £200 for the vet to her pup. We went and was deeply disappointed we were charged another £182 to take his temperature and give him paracetamol . We could not believe it. My daughter has a horse and the out of hours call out fee is not this much. Why is Vets now fee so expensive

We had a bad experience with vets now at kings lynn. He suddenly had breathing difficulties so we took him in for an emergency appointment. He was wrongly diagnosed with kennel cough and given some medication. That cost £380. Two days later I had to rush him back for another emergency appointment in the middle of the night. The vet wanted £3000 for scans and x rays. We had to pay another £180. The next morning I took him to Dersingham vets. She took one look, gave him a steroid injection and 4 hours later he was fine. He'd just had an allergic reaction to something. It cost only £54. I feel vets now were just in it for the money. No compassion or empathy. Just how much they could get. We do not recommend at all. Having an emergency with your pet on a Saturday at 0630 hrs it is very reassuring to know you can call a vet and be seen straight away. Yes. It’s expensive. But these guys work nights and it’s worth it for your beloved pet. Both receptionist and vet were amazing with my cat.
