It has been a difficult couple of months and I have found the staff very helpful and medically informative at both the Brayton and Sherburn branches. The receptionists are very welcoming, the nurses are very knowledgeable and caring. The vets collectively helped us provide the best medical route for our dog to which we are very thankful. Also a very big thank you to Sue who has provided us with veterinarian care for several years. She has been very informative and to the point which helped us understand clearly. Our little guy always looked forward to his after appointment treats with Sue.

Called 15 minutes before closing, asked to come straight away. Vet saw our rabbit at least 30 minutes after they officially closed but only charged us the daytime rate, (still expensive but not as bad as it could have been). Rabbit back to health now, thank you. Excellent vets. 5* rated

Don’t usually do this but fuming… 2 minutes for consultation @£65.00 then find out they don’t do the medication I am wanting and if I do I have to pay £540 upfront and claim back through my insurance. Have to go back to my old vets who are double the distance away, but at least I can put my insurance through straight away and they deal with that so I don’t pay upfront. These small practices are okay but they don’t offer the services and live in the 70s.

Always happy to help, friendly staff and keen to make sure our dog is in the best health and any treatment is clearly explained before proceeding. They also provide additional support when dealing with insurance providers making everything easier and less stressful.

I usually go to Holmefield vets at Sherburn but needed to go to Brayton as thought my dog may have to have an x ray and Brayton can deal with my German Shepherd better. Saw a male vet ,usually my dog is wary of men but he was very calm and softly spoken so she was fine with him. She didn't need an xray ,but I can highly recommend this vet ,unfortunately I didn't get his name. He genuinely cared about my dog.
