I needed to get my horse (Colt) gelded, which I was recommended Intake Veterinary Services. I called them on Wednesday morning and was given an appointment the following day. I was given a call 30 mins before the appointment to confirm they were on route. Beckie and Matthew (vets) were great with my young horse and knowledgeable. I cannot fault their service and would definitely recommend to others.

I'm new to Intake Vets and can only (so far) comment on David after needing to have a call out on Bank Holiday Monday (why is it always a bl*0dy baby holiday??) for my new horse. He was super lovely and had our horse sedated and treated in no time at all despite the fact that she clearly doesn't like needles. Two days into medicating her (fussy mare who's not good driven at all so the kitchen resembles that of a Witch Doctors while I invent all manner of interesting concoctions to get her to eat her meds 🤣) and she's definitely on the mend. Thank you to the lovely lady on the phone and to David for coming to see to her on a bank holiday before I'd actually gotten around to registering with you to begin with 😊🐴

Lost all my horse vaccinations because they sent a reminder to someone else's phone number that was on my account, that shouldn'tof been on my account, another client of their's. Did check with office a month early and I was told don't worry you will get a reminder closer to the time'. Sent text to vet, no response. When I finally get to speak to a vet I was told, 'your to late, its your fault, so when do I want to restart them all. Just like that as if I can afford a vet 3 times to do boosters all over again. No apology nothing. Also below: The cost of £153 for a passport and a colour test on a pony. Really? The pony was already microchipped and it was a replacement passport, however the vet wouldn't check the details of the ponies age and decided to put unknown 8 to 10 which has caused a massive delay, as his actual age is on is ID chip, therefore his paperwork has been sent back to me for correction. Text vet to arrange dropping it to them, but again no reply for a week. Contacted again today and got an utter cheeky reply, if I'm that stressed about it, ring me as im busy driving most of the day and on calls. She also stated she would put the same info as other vet, unknown 8 to 10 even thought the pony has a birth date, microchipped and ive spoken to previous owners. Its now one month since I tried to get this ponies passport replacement. I have a broken hand and he needs re-homing but all this goes over the vets heads. Absolutely no customer service.
