Spoke to the receptionist over the phone for some general advice on tick bites when I was on holiday nearby. And unsure if we needed a vet appointment or not. The lovely lady on the phone was very friendly and able to put my at ease and gave me all of the options. Thankfully I was able to care for my dog without needing an appointment.

We had an emergency with our dog last week after a hike and called up to Oakhill Vets in Windermere. They were so incredible in helping us out and ensuring that the dog was taken care of and recovered. A big shout out to Sue who was really caring and made sure we were looked after. It was pretty miserable outside and we were drenched and cold, but she made sure to give us brews, some food to eat and some blankets as well. A big thank you to the vet Michael as well who kept reassuring us about the situation and giving helpful updates through the process. Highly recommend this vets if in the area, really lovely bunch of people and thoroughly professional too!

What can I say… Lovely receptionist, nice clean environment and very knowledgeable staff. Wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else! The staff are just amazing with her, she is a nervous dog and they take that in to account. Thank you to all the staff.

We have been with Oakhill Veterinary Care for 7 years, we have always found the staff helpful and informative. This week I visited the practice with our Goldendoddle and Claire (Vet) was very attentive with him, making sure he was fully vaccinated and ensured his welfare was being cared for I would definitely recommend Oakhill Veterinary Care to any potential clients

On holiday in the lakes when our patterdale Max became unwell, finding a good vet was a daunting prospect. We made an appointment at the oakhill vets practice in both Ambleside and then we were transferred to Oakhill vets windermere they were all amazing, freindly and very proffesional . Max had an xray and scan and was given meds.The whole experience was very smooth we needn't of worried he was in very safe hands, they went above and beyond, they were caring, compassionate and we can't thank Tina, Katherine and all the staff enough.Would recommend Oakhill vets they were 5 star.

Good group of vets... used then for 30 + yrs and have seen vets come and retire... They always offer a really caring approach to the care and wellbeing of our dog.
