Would like to thank Hubert for the care of our little Maggie. She had a cruciate ligament operation and removal of the previous patella pins and wires. The aftercare has been fantastic, all concerns and questions answered within a few hours. Maggie has now had her last consultation following her recovery and the support continues. Thanks to Hubert and all the staff, they will take good care of your furbaby and treat them like their own.

Amazing service from the coffee and chat received from Kath on arrival to the expertise, knowledge and additional support from Hubert for our dogs snapped cruciate ligament. Been able to come for a check up and X-ray without my dog being knocked out for the day is incredible and so much nicer for him. Would highly recommend without hesitation. Thank you.

This place is amazing! One of our dogs - Ernie is a tripaw and unfortunately has broken his front leg not once but twice. The level of expertise, attention and most importantly care that our boy received from all at Ashbourne Orthopaedic Vets is absolutely phenomenal. From beginning to end, the care and love Ernie received was incredible and we can’t thank you all enough for helping our boy and his brother - Bert to get back to tackling life together. Also a huge thanks from the “parents” for listening to us, supporting us, letting us cry when needed and the lovely coffees supplied when we have waited for Ernie 😀

Wish I could give more than 5 stars 🌟. The treatment my dog Walter had was excellent. Can't recommend Karl and his team enough. Communication was very good and they were at the end of the phone if I was concerned about anything. Thank you again for taking such good care of Walter

Absolutely lovely vet and staff. So kind and friendly and gave honest, knowledgeable diagnosis when others were way off with treatment plan. Highly recommend Karl and if / when Dottie needs further help, I'll make the 3 hour trip again, It's worth it for peace of mind. Great aftercare service too and it was more affordable than other vets! What's not to love xx

When our vets told us that Bear had luxating patella in both back legs, The Ashbourne Orthopaedic Vets were highly recommended to carry out his operation, we were so glad they did. We booked a consultation first, we saw Karl and from this moment we had complete confidence in him and the practice. We took him in a couple of days later for his op which Karl carried out. He was very professional and very caring, he answered all questions and concerns before the op and explained the procedure in detail. The after care and support was second to none, we felt we could get in touch any time with any concerns and we always received a prompt reply. The practice itself is very welcoming and all the staff were so lovely. We cannot express our thanks and gratitude to this amazing practice who work so hard on a daily basis. Bear has made a tremendous recovery and we are grateful to Karl and the team and the wonderful work they do.

My dog Alfie recently ruptured his cruciate ligament and we were referred over, met the team on the day of Alfie's operation and they were amazing, kind, compassionate! Jon the vet is straight to the point and that's how it should be, he took care of both Alfie and myself and explained everything in depth prior to leaving. All the team I met that day were amazing! Can't thank them enough! Here's to a safe, comfortable recovery for my lad! Thanks again! Would highly recommend
