Hinckley Vets4Pets Ltd is part of the Vets4Pets chain (not an independent clinic) and is set up as a fairly broad, well-equipped practice: it lists an in-house lab, pharmacy, digital x‑ray and ultrasound, plus a hospital ward and isolation facilities. The website also states it’s an RCVS Approved Graduate Development Practice and a veterinary nurse training facility.
From the latest reviews available, owners most often describe fast access when something feels urgent (one reviewer says they were seen within half an hour of calling) and clear, detailed explanations during consults (particularly naming Dr. Tudor Lloyd). There is also a starkly different account from one reviewer describing a long-running eye problem with very high costs and a poor outcome, which conflicts with the predominantly positive feedback.

Couldn't fault them at all. Receptionist was caring and found out about what was needed and we saw a vet within half an hour of my phone call. The vet himself could not have done more. Huge thanks to all of you making a bad day a bit easier

The service we receive and the way they look after our pet is second to none. Wouldn't think of taking him anywhere else.

I just wanted to thank you for Dr. Tudor Lloyd ‘s exceptional care for our cat . Since we first brought our cat in , your professionalism and patience have been evident in every consultation , and the way explain things in detail always make us feel at ease. Dr. Tudor not only a kind and caring person , also a experienced veterinarian. Once again , thank you and your team .

This place really isn’t worth one star ,maybe I would give that for the receptionists as they are usually very polite and always seem to be busy , do whatever . The vets are poor in my opinion, I believe I have only ever seen two English young vets since registering 6 years ago , and none in the last two years . They are all east European or Spanish , funny really as those countries wouldn’t scream animal welfare to me , money maybe would be more realistic . As it happens, when I asked one of the Spanish men about what happens when an owner cannot afford the treatments and they are not insured ( the first question they ask when deciding treatment ) I was quite surprised when he said, “ Sadly we have to euthanise “ Not particularly animal caring attitude. My personal experience with this lot really started about 3.5 years ago , took my spaniel with an eye infection, conjunctivitis I was told , over £7000.00 later and many different combinations of medication, many repeated over and over again, even though they didn’t work , a visit to their recommended specialist at a cost of £500.00 , that Vets for Pets totally ignored any advice he gave, an operation performed because the Spanish girl believed she knew better than the specialist, another disaster, now the dog cannot close his eyes when sleeping , is it any wonder his eyes are now dry and he needs ointment for the rest of his life, the same ointment that the specialist recommended. IS IT ANY WONDER THE DOG IS NOW BLIND !! And yesterday they gave me the same medication as he had in February, that that vet said they wouldn’t recommend as it’s not really for dogs , yet it was the only one that had ever shown any benefit, just another £400.00 Please.

We took our little hamster due to a poorly leg/paw. Was very impressed with thr thorough examination, the chap doing the work kept us very informed and was very nice. Felt like our little hamster was in great hands and felt confident with the whole process.

Wonderful vets , couldn't have been more helpful . Sadly our lovely boy Buddy had to be put to sleep but the whole experience was handled so sensitively . In particular the nurse who assisted us on the day was so kind and thoughtful . Also great communication from the vet and they assisted with direct insurance payments which our usual vet had sadly refused to do . Will most definitely be using them in future .

Fab staff and vets. Had laser treatment for my labs’ arthritis and sore joints. 3 sessions at £30-£35 (if I remember correctly) and each session is 10-15 minutes long. Vets are really informative and helpful.
