Since switching to Old Hall Vets, the level of care and compassion we’ve experienced has been on a completely different level compared to Medivet and other large chain practices. Dr. Helen and every other vet who has treated our dog have been truly outstanding. All of them are incredibly experienced with years of veterinary practice and surgery. What really stands out is their approach. They always prioritise the least invasive option first, focusing on medication and careful monitoring rather than rushing into major procedures. But when surgery is necessary, you can trust that your pet will be handled with the utmost care and attention. They genuinely listen, take their time, and give your pet their full focus. You never feel rushed or dismissed, which makes such a difference when you’re worried about your animal. On top of that, their pricing feels fair and transparent, which sadly isn’t always the case with many veterinary practices. Overall, you can tell they truly care, and that’s something you don’t take for granted.

Genuinely, the only vets my dog has been too where we isn't overcome with anxiety. A pleasant experience for him and the staff GENUINELY care. Also, Old Hall Vets is independent!

Caring, friendly, approachable, polite team of people. Nothing is too much trouble when it comes to looking after your pets. They have been amazing with my cats, dog and guinea pigs. When you walk through the door it is such a friendly and welcoming place to be. I highly recommend this practice to anyone wanting the best care for their pets.

We were staying near Appleby recently when my sister’s little dog needed some intervention that was quite straight forward, but required doing as soon as possible. We rang Old Hall, and regardless of not being registered there she was seen within a couple of hours. The care couldn’t have been better and all concerns were removed. Thank you for the excellent care.
