I am very impressed by the caring attitude of the vets and the nurses at Millcroft. As I have a diabetic Labrador I have frequent visits and the whole experience is always a positive one - even my dog is happy to go and see her 'friends' at Millcroft.

Excellent service from Millcroft vets at Cockermouth. I would go nowhere else. The staff are caring and kind to your animal They always explain what care they are administering, why they are doing it, what to expect, and how best for you to care for your pet. They give adequate time to discuss your pets needs or any concerns you may have.

Millcroft Vets truly exceeded our expectations on our first visit with Shuey. As newcomers to the area, we were instantly impressed by the spacious and impeccably clean reception area, which made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped inside. The staff were genuinely lovely, offering a warm greeting and helpful advice throughout our visit. The vet was absolutely amazing, showing real care and expertise in handling Shuey. We also decided to join the Pet Plan, and were pleased there was no hard sell – just honest information and support. The experience was perfect for both pets and humans, and we left feeling confident we’d found the right place for our furry family. Five stars, without question!

I was on holiday in Keswick and my dog Munchkin developed a UTI on boxing day (of all days). Emergency vets were brilliant, got me booked into Cockermouth very next day. Vet who saw Munchkin was very thorough and we got sent on our way with meds and piece of mind. Brilliant service (and friendly )given the time of year, thankyou x
