Iv adopted a new dog, and love this place, everyone is welcoming and explaining everything even if I didn't understand the lovely lady on reception ( pink hair I think ) had time to explain it more than once so I understood, nothing is a problem here Love waffle

We have used this practice for years and, usually, only have good things to say about it. Staff are polite and extremely efficient. However, today I experienced some of the most ignorant behaviour on reception that I have ever experienced anywhere. I rang in advance to order two bags of hay for our rabbits and said I would be there within 1/2 an hour. When I arrived, there was no one at the counter and 3 or 4 people behind the desk. I walked up to one girl who, at first, appeared to be doing nothing. She didn't greet me and, more disappointingly, totally blanked me. She then got up, printed a label to put on a pet card. Walked off and then started to talk to a colleague, still totally ignoring me. After a minute or two I interrupted the conversation and asked if I could have the two bags of hay that were on the floor behind the desk. She passed them to me and never spoke a word. Absolutely unbelievable for such a great practice, usually.

I had to have my dog put to sleep today staff and vet were amazing thank you so much it was heart breaking 💔 recommend them

Absolutely wonderful team of people at this Vets, from reception to seeing the vet themselves, they delt with a worrying issue promptly with my Dalmatian dog Walter, really impressive service made me feel at ease with there amazing care. Thank you so much Heidi Paul and Walter😊

Amazing people, I'm terrified of going to the vets but these guys are brilliant, baby Colin had his first big boy injection and his chip ,everyone was lovely and it definitely has restored my faith in vets,thanks everyone

Signed up with Ambivet Ilkeston for my first pet and I’ve been more than happy with everything. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and look after my baby, can’t thank them enough especially for today as my kitten has been spayed

Lovely vets, I would go to say the best I have been in. The premises are reasonably new so everything is clean and tidy, with friendly staff who know what they are talking about. A little expensive at times for certain medical problems. Small carpark but a bit tricky if turning right onto the main road as it is on a blind corner
