The team at Strand Vets in Port Erin were exceptional with Snowball. After severe cataracts caused his lens to dislodge and he needed his eye removed, they were calm, clear, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. Nothing felt rushed, and we always felt listened to and cared for. Their compassion and professionalism made a very difficult situation much easier to get through. We’re truly grateful for their care.

Our new rescue dog Jasmine had become unwell with an upset stomach. I contacted Strand vets for some advice and to see if they would see her. They saw her straight away and gave her some medication which has sorted her problem. The staff were amazing and we can't thank them enough for helping us out. We are regular visitors to the Island and it's so reassuring that there is some where to take our dogs if needed.

I wanted to post this review after having to have my Labrador put to sleep. Dingo was an old boy and the time had come for us to let him go and be free from pain. From advising us and giving us the quality of life survey I cannot praise the team at Strand highly enough. The compassion, understanding and care they gave Dingo and us was truly appreciated. They made a very hard time more bearable and were so caring. Thank you Ciara for doing the best for my boy and to all the team at Strand for your lovely words in the card you gave us. We are truly grateful to have such a good team at Strand Vets.

I brought Bert my African Grey parrot as he hasn’t been to well lately. Ciara was great with him, taking bloods & examining. The only thing he had to say about it was “oi!”

Thank you so much to the team. Very helpful and informative experience. Very welcoming and caring.Everyone at Strand Vets is very responsive and empathetic. With an old pet, we will have to let go when the quality of life decreases but with the support of kind knowledgeable people like this team we know we have good advice and teaching us what to look out for. This practice uses an inclusive monthly charge and we find it is fair and good value. Thank you once again.

Rang for advice due to puppy being sick during the night. Was offered appointment straight away. As always receptionist lovely and helpful. Great advice from the vet who was very friendly and patient with my poorly puppy.

Sam our boxer has been looked after by Strand Vets for the last seven years and we have been very happy with them. Recently, as he has become older, Sam has needed more support from Strand Vets. They always greet him by name and gently encourage him to allow them to treat him. He responds to this very well.
