We have been with Swale for years, thankfully generally just routine usually. Today one of our dogs had an accident & cut herself badly and the wound wouldn't stop spurting blood. We had to call as an emergency out of hours. The vet was there when we arrived. She administered a GA & sutured the pup up & we now have her home - feeling very sorry for herself but ok. So many thanks to Hazel for her great care & attention today. So very much appreciated. Noone wants to need the out of hours service, but such a relief to know the team are there to help if needed & to get such fab care. Thank you- highly recommended.

Worst vets ever one they x rayed my dog told me there was no fracture and there was she had to be put under twice four vets looked at her and said she was fine !! Then the receptionists are extremely rude and put the phone down on you not only this they bill you wrong and then send you extra bills . Avoid at all costs my dogs swallowed a fishing hook the receptionist was rude yet again !

New pup ate something she shouldn't, got an appointment an hour from calling. Vet did full examination, a jab and some meds and plenty of helpful advice. If only going to A&E for humans was this efficient. Pleased we are registered with them, hopefully won't be seeing them all that often though!

Absolutely fantastic service from this practice. We are on holiday and our Kerry blue terrier injured his foot - hates having his feet examined but Gavin the vet was calming and professional and carried out thorough examination and treated. Would not hesitate to recommend the service at this practice. Thank you Gavin and to your reception staff too who were also lovely,

I have been using swale vets for over 30 years the service I have had is outstanding friendly helpful team all the vets are caring and the nurses be hide the seen are lovely and look after your pets . I have had 3 dogs with diabetes and with out the swale vets team I don’t know how I would have coped without them not to mention the rainbow time saying good bye . The compassion I have seen from all the staff is 💯 a few names I would like to mention is Gavin , Linda who have been there a long time and both looked after all my dogs and continue to do so with the rest of the team let’s hope this friendly vets is here to stay thank you to you all x

I was staying in Reeth for a few days and my young dog developed a limp which I was worried about. I rang the surgery and the receptionist was so helpful and sorted an appt for that very day in their little part time surgery in Reeth itself. The vet called Linda was very reassuring and gave my little dog a thorough examination. Thankfully there was no serious problem and she gave appropriate medication. I was extremely happy and grateful. od
