We took our dog Stormy as she suddenly started to limp, Georgia examined Stormy and couldn’t find anything, I mentioned that she had lost a tiny amount of dark red blood the night before, thank the lord I did as this put Georgia on high alert for pyometra and she was right, Stormy was booked in for the next morning for emergency surgery, Manu done the surgery thankfully it all went to plan, Manu was so kind ( even gave me a hug), I was surprised when I seen the wound, I was expecting a giant size cut, it was the smallest cut and the stitches were so neat and just perfect, Stormy is recovering well. Thank you to everyone involved in Stormy’s care. Thank you to Georgia for diagnosing Stormy so quickly and a massive thank you to Manu for his amazing surgery skills. We can’t thank you all enough for your care for Stormy and the compassion shown to us. Thank you all so much. Big sloppy wet kisses from Stormy. ❤️
As in my husband Martin’s review approximately 4 weeks ago. The wonderful georgie has done it again with a diagnosis of IBD in my cat dolly this was confirmed by blood test poo samples and scan confirmed her diagnosis. She put Dolly on a special diet that she recommended and within a week her bowel movements were back to normal. The five stars are for all the staff there but georgie is worth more than 5 stars. Words are not enough to express what we have had from Georgie. She is such a wonderful vet and person.
I cannot thank the team at Vets4Pets Bromsgrove enough for everything they did for Joey and for me throughout his illness.
A special thank you has to go to Georgie, who was simply incredible. From the very beginning, she never gave up on Joey, even when he became so poorly. She was always looking for another option, another treatment, or another way to help him, and I will always be grateful for the determination, compassion and care she showed. It was so clear how much she genuinely cared about him, and she also gave me so much support during such a difficult time.
The reception team were equally amazing. They were always kind, understanding and compassionate, and whenever Joey took a turn for the worse, they did everything they could to get us an appointment as quickly as possible. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their warmth and reassurance meant more than they’ll probably ever know.
Although losing Joey has been the hardest thing I’ve ever been through, I take comfort in knowing he received the very best care possible. Thank you to everyone at Vets4Pets Bromsgrove for treating Joey with so much love, kindness and dignity. I will never forget everything you did for him, and for me.
For the 3rd time in 3 months Georgia has been amazing. 1st she spotted a slight hart murmur in 16 month old tammie. 2nd she gave us greate explanation about tammie very high potassium level and the tablets she has put her on got it from 1500 to 156 in 2 months. 3rd straight away when we had to take Dolly as she would not eat or drink and was sick she said not to worry as it was a infection gave her a injection did blood test and next day was again proven right she was eating ect in 24 hours. What amazing vet great with pets and owners wonderful person.
Excellent service
Very friendly, clean, inside pets at home store.proces not too bad.
Cannot rate thia place highly enough, stafg are wonderful so helpful and friendly and they are genuine pet lovers. On a recent visit the Georgie the vet remembered our cat as he had been in for castration a few months before. Great service and lovely store.
Honestly if I could give 0 stars I would. Not our first time using this vets in Bromsgrove and would go somewhere else. We used to bring our older dogs there but stopped when one locum vet made vile comments about one of our dogs conditions and said it was our fault they were basically dying when we were told by the same vets they didn’t need their medication. We only took our cat there because she gets nervous in the car and hates the journey.
Our cat, Mia, who’s been having constant trouble now with multiple things went in the other day to have bloods and fluids done because she was unwell again. Came away with gabapentin because they couldn’t take her blood. The next day, we go back in ready to have her bloods done and go back onto fluids where the vet said that she didn’t need those and she was happy enough with her condition, even though she still had a temperature. We got prescribed steroids for her which she had trouble taking because she was unwell. My mom called up unhappy because the new vet we saw didn’t do what we previously went in for and even told my mom that Mia didn’t have a temperature and that we could come back in for another cost on top to do what they were originally supposed to do. Fast forward to yesterday and today, we transferred vets who were thorough with everything they did and kept her in overnight on fluids and did her bloods, as she had a temperature, with no improvement. Our poor mimi is now septic with fluid in her abdomen within 2 days and she had to be put to sleep. If you want a vets that will listen and not put money above your pets wellbeing and do everything for your pet, I don’t suggest this place. At. All. Avoid like the plague.
I have just had my lovely cat Mia put to sleep, and I cannot fault the vets and nurses at pets at home. I wasnt expecting this outcome today, but It was made a little easier having the professionalism of these lovely people explaining everything so clearly, and precise. We would just like to say a massive thank you to all the staff especially the vet (who i'm afraid I didn't get his name) for everything while Mia was on their books. Bless you all.
