Awful. Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Am £18 out of pocket because they don't understand their own billing system. Two visits to the vets and a phonecall later still unresolved.

Cannot recommend these vets highly enough for the short time that my dog was with them we was treated with nothing but kindness and respect. We was also surprised to receive a very heartfelt condolence card a few days after. Thank you so much to all the staff who took amazing care of not only our dog but us as well.

Amazing Vet practice, had our female bsh Willow spayed in Feb and our male bsh Boris neutered just 2 days ago, (27/10/25) both surgeries absolutely amazing and very thorough follow ups given with such care, professionalism and friendliness, our fur babies mean the world to us and I feel they are in amazing hands when they visit the practice! We don’t live in glossop and have other vets more local to us but nowhere comes near Victoria vets for our babies! Thank you all so much for keeping them safe and well! Corinne sheldon xx

Really caring and informative staff, also have a clinic in Chapel-en-le-Frith for consultations. Surgeries are undertaken in the Glossop branch. Highly recommended.

Very good and caring. Worked with me to help me provide the best palliative care I could for my elderly Cat before she passed away. Easy to get in touch with and book appointments.

Really helpful vets- always kind and friendly, I have a melodramatic reactive lurcher so can dread taking him in a bit but they're always helpful in the waiting room and let me pay by phone after so he doesnt have to stand with the other dogs too long.

I can't recommend this vets enough. We had 2 chocolate labs Max and Milo that Victoria Vets have looked after. We recently had to say goodbye to our gorgeous Milo and I would like to thank Matt,Tim and the team for giving us an extra 8 months with Milo and treating him and us with so much care he loved the vets because he got lots of gravy bones. Thank you so very much for the beautiful card and seeds at his passing love Sandra,Chris & Claire Martin xx

Concerning - I've had two separate contacts with this vets recently and neither of them were positive. Back in the middle of last year, I made the awful call to enquire about having my elderly dog put to sleep. The receptionist asked bluntly are you even registered with us? and when I explained no, my usual vets was closed hence me calling to ask if they could help, she abruptly told me well there's obviously nothing we can do then, you'd have to be registered with us and you're not. It was hurtful and really left a strong negative impression. I recently got a puppy and was comparing vet health care plans in the area, and despite my initial concerns about the rude and uncaring attitude of staff on my last contact with Victoria Vets, I thought they seemed to offer the best health care plan so I called up to get my new puppy registered and to sign up for their monthly Pet Health Plan. They took my details, were friendly enough this time and booked my puppy in for a check-up and to finish getting registered the next day at 2pm. The next day, I go at 2pm as agreed, and the receptionist tells me no, we've not got any appointment for you. It's next Friday. When I explained the lady I'd spoken to had definitely said it was today at 2pm, I was told again no, it's next Friday. We can book you in today at 2:30pm, but you'll have to wait for the half an hour - no apology. I initially agreed to wait around, but was then asked to go back home and get my puppy's vaccination certificate (fair enough, I should have probably thought to bring it, but when I'd asked if I needed to bring anything with me as I'd booked the appointment I was told no, just me and the dog and a way of making my first payment). When I arrived home, it did not feel right to trust my pet's health to this surgery, given the initial rude and uncaring approach I'd been met with on my first contact with them, and then this lack of competence in handling simple appointment dates and times made me feel too concerned about the apparent lack of competence to have faith in their ability to handle more serious events like spaying, operations, prescriptions etc. Their lack of surprise, concern or any apology when it became clear I'd been booked in on one date and told it was for another week altogether made me question how frequently this happens - to the receptionist team, it certainly seemed like nothing out of the ordinary. I'd be very careful about entrusting your pets health with this team as frankly, even the other receptionist understood my point when I called to cancel the appointment, citing my concerns about the competence and professionalism of the wider team. Probably best to avoid and go elsewhere, as I will be doing. A shame as it does seem like they have some great plans and services - the front of house team just do not align.
