We had to take our 19 year old cat in to the vet as she had a fit after my wife bought her in from the car after a holiday, the vets were absolutely brilliant and put my wife and myself at ease about the treatment to be administered to our cat. Many thanks for their excellent service and professional support.

" SORRY LIBBY"."WE KNOW ITS NOT YOU",AS YOU ALWAYS TOLD US EVERYTHING YOU WAS GOING TO DO BEFORE YOU DID IT AND HOW MUCH EXTRA IT WAS GOING TO BE UNLIKE ONE OF YOUR OTHER VETS.WARNING, NOT RECOMMEND. I'VE BEEN TOLD BY THE ROYAL COLLEGE OF VETERINARY SURGEONS THAT PEOPLE THAT HAS BEEN LET DOWN OR LIED TO OR NOT BEEN TOLD OF EXTRA CHARGES TO REPORT THIS VETS TO RCVS SO PLEASE REPORT ANY WRONG DOING BY THE BECKS VETS AT WHITBY. NOT RECOMMEND, BEWARE OF THIS MONEY GRABBING VETS.Yet again problems with this vets. By law you must tell people that extra money added to bills for screen tests,(and rcvs agreed with me).when the vets told me our daisy had ear infection. Which I knew that's why I took her to vets but extra money added on bill for samples which didn't need to be done but more to the point vets never said that would be extra charge. And when I complained to woman boss (MRS BECK) was told they had problems with me before, YES BECAUSE YOU GAVE US WRONG TABLETS FOR OUR BELLA AND ALSO LIED ABOUT SAYING OUR BELLA WAS OVER WEIGHT,AND ONLY SMALL HEART MERMER WHEN BELLA WAS AT STAGE 5 HEART FAILURE, AND WE HAD TO HAVE OUR BELLA LAID TO REST BECAUSE OF THIS, BUT WILL NEVER BE GOING TO THIS VETS AGAIN. LIKE I SAID BEFORE THIS VETS IS JUST INTERESTED IN THE MONEY. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED. NOT RECOMMEND. I recently took our Toby to this vet practice, the experience was absolutely brilliant. From the initial phone booking taken by a young lady called Beck, she was kind, attentive and reassuring, with an excellent telephone manner. To the ladies at reception one of whom called Ingrid, on the day of our attending, made me feel so very welcome. And of course the Scottish vet chap, such a lovely reassuring man, took time to fully explain Toby’s issues, not just in technical terms, but in layman terms dusted with a sprinkling good humour. I will be remaining a customer for Toby’s sake with this practice Thankyou

I am extremely impressed with the outstanding level of care my budgie received during his recent feather cyst removal. From the initial consultation to the follow-up, the veterinary team were professional, compassionate, and thorough in explaining the procedure and aftercare. The surgery itself was carried out with great expertise, and my budgie has recovered quickly and comfortably. I am deeply grateful for the skill and dedication shown, and I would highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking excellent avian veterinary care.

How lucky you all are to have this amazing veterinary practice in your area. Whilst on holiday our shihtzu needed emergency care and then all day in the vets hospital then more tests the day after. We have just completed her treatments and can not praise the staff enough. Beyond friendly yet so professional, everyone we met on the staff couldn’t do enough to help and sort our situation. The vet (lizzy) was knowledgeable and so caring as was everyone towards my family and our dog kitty at a time of absolute stress. The premises are bright and very clean and it was a lovely experience bearing in mind it was a stressful unplanned problem we had, can’t thank this practice enough for their care and “fixing” of our naughty dog! Thank you all so much HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRACTICE

We needed to bring our whippet as an emergency on Friday as she cut her leg badly on the beach. We aren't from the area and EVERYONE we dealt with was amazing. Within a few hours she was ready to be collected after being sedated and stitched. What an amazing practice and we only wish they were our regular vet. Well done all, super pleased with the service we received

We have been taking our dog to Beck Veterinary Practice for a few years. Our Chico (Chihuahua) had a anaesthetic with abdominal exploratory laparotomy on the 26th of April. We were so worried whether he would have complications. Libby Beck performed an excellent surgical procedure with care and compassion. Our ten year old little boy did very well and is recuperating quickly. The entire staff was very accommodating and answered any queries during and after office hours as they always have. I am very pleased with the service we received and would like to thank Libby and staff for their caring professionalism and efficiency.
