I visited the vets today with my lil one after calling a few others. I have had experience with Robson and Prescott with my horses so I was expecting a relatively similar experience with my hamster. I had a few disclosed to me via phone before making the appointment then told I would find out the rest at the appointment (to which other vets did just disclose an average price of £50. I had my little one euthanised and was then hit with a bill of £100 (at that point what are you meant to say). In vulnerable positions as all pet owners are when visiting the vets with their loved pets, I believe full cost of fees should be prior explained before the treatment. The service I received was good despite this. The vet was extremely empathetic, knowledgable and caring towards my fur baby. I just believe if other vets can provide a service with transparency of fees, why can the same not be done here, because the website contradicts my overall service today. Never in a million years did I expect the fee to be £100. It never has been in my previous experiences.

Got a first time last minute appointment with my Grandaughters Frenchie, absolutely blown away by the care I recieved here. Veterinarian was lovely we weren't rushed at all, we got 'both ends' sorted, came away with treatment and change of food advice which we did immediately and she's improving already after only 2 days, I'd highly recommend this practice and will definitely use again, it didn't break the bank and I found it a lot cheaper than the vets I've used in my native Yorkshire 5*

Traumatic experience. Lost a kitten I was hand rearing. Vets tried their best but lost him. Devastated loosing such a little soul. Thank you for trying to help. R.i.p baby Tash xxx
