Recent reviews frequently mention being fitted in quickly for urgent problems (including same-day “no notice” urgent slots) and vets taking time to explain options and costs up front. There are also serious negative accounts: one owner describes heavy post-op bleeding after a “keyhole spay” and significant out-of-hours costs, and another says they weren’t told about possible medication side effects or the price of an injection beforehand.
Based on the clinic website summary and the latest reviews, services mentioned include
Out-of-hours/emergency cover (as stated on the website): when the clinic is closed, emergency cover is provided via Moorview Referrals with a consultation fee.

They have been great with treating my elderly cat, and extremely compassionate at the end. Very fairly priced, and lovely staff too.

Had to take my dog there today as he vomited blood and I was scared of a blockage. The receptionist who I spoke to first was absolutely amazing, she could tell I was getting worried and she reassured me so much (Tina). The vet I seen (Bia) put me at ease, made me feel like she had all the time in the world for me and my dog. Explained every different approach and was up front with the costs, which does help. Made such a difference for a very scary time for me.

We love this practice as they are so kind and caring. Nothing is ever too much bother, they are fantastic to get booked in for appointments and even urgent ones at no notice. They always have a smile and a chat. Absolutely wouldn't put the care of our beloved little dog in anyone else's hands. Thank you team x

Paid £600 for a practise recommended keyhole spay as apparently recovery was fast and easier. Went to pick my dog up and she was presented to me very excited and jumping around in the treatment room on a long lead which I thought was strange post op but assumed maybe it was normal. Was informed then that she needed to avoid jumping and be gently lifted on sofa etc which I found strange considering she was doing that at the time. Got her home and she started to bleed extremely heavily through one of the glued incisions and I ended up rushing her to out of hours vets. If I hadn't have found someone to stem the bleeding I'm not sure she would have survived the trip. I have now been left with a £1000 vet bill for the out of hours care as the insurance wont pay out. Vets4Pets claim it was an "incidental" event and wont renumerate me anything. Very dissatisfied and upset with this treatment and the trauma my little dog endured.

The team have always fitted my cats in at last minute and been kind and compassionate. When one sadly died unexpectedly, I was heavily pregnant and really distraught and the team kindly offered to review my other cat to reassure me that she was fine. I then recieved some paw prints and a lovely card in the post. Great team.

We were not made aware of possible side effects before our dog was given a drug. She suffered catastrophic side effects within hours and is only just beginning to recover 4 months later and she will probably never be the same. The side effects she experienced are listed first in the product information for the drug but we were told by the practice manager and also the administering vet that it was highly unlikely the drug had caused them and said no one in the practice was even aware of the updated (last year) product information. The practice owner refused to meet us to discuss this and there has never been any attempt to monitor how our dog is doing. We were also not advised that the injection was going to cost us £93!

Took my little pup for his last injection and microchip. Staff were lovely and friendly and they were so nice and caring with the puppy as he was sore after getting his chip.

Our 10 year old cat Tash had been vomiting since we returned from holiday & we thought he could be depressed or something worse because of his age. 😔 We had an appointment but had to cancel very last minute because Tash wouldn’t get in a pet carrier no matter how hard we tried!! Our appointment was rescheduled & we eventually got him there. We saw Dr Daniela Beatriz Miranda (Dr Bea) & she was amazing!! She had THE most calming nature with Tash & did a very thorough examination reassuring us throughout. It turns out she thinks Tash has had an infection & gave him two injections, an antibiotic & anti sickness. Tash has been great since then & thanks to Dr Bea we now feel our fears are alleviated for our future trips to the vets ☺️ A really great practice with friendly helpful staff & also not forgetting the girls who I spoke too so many times when I had to ring them about our appointments.

Vets4Pets has limited but active parking (including two disabled bays) shared with the Co-op. They’ve cared for our Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Tia, since we adopted her. When a lump was found, they quickly arranged tests, diagnosed cancer, and successfully removed the tumour. Tia is now back to her energetic self. The staff are caring, professional, and even give treats to help pets relax. Service is flawless, though prices are a bit high—hence 4 stars instead of 5. Thank you to Vets4Pets for everything
