Investment Thesis

The UK's vet comparison market is wide open. We've already built the infrastructure to own it.

5,773+ clinics indexed. 33,590 structured prices across 239 standardised service types. 2,420 clinics with pricing on site. 330 domains. Telephony, bookings, price comparison, a clinic website platform, and a ChatGPT app — all live. CMA transparency mandates confirmed this week. This raise funds the team to convert data advantage into revenue.

The Thesis in Six Pillars

What we've built, what's working, and what this raise unlocks — in priority order.

1

Data moat built

33,590 prices · 239 service types

The largest standardised vet pricing dataset in the UK. 5,773+ clinics tracked across 2,420 with pricing on site. Corporate imports from Medivet, CVS, VetPartners. Crawling, structured imports, and price comparison indicators — all live. This data is a compounding asset that grows more defensible over time.

2

Domain moat + distribution

330 domains · 7.6K indexed pages

330 owned domains across country, county, and town levels — a structural moat and a distribution engine. 2.31M Search Console impressions. 21.0K new users to date — with zero ad spend.

3

Leads flowing

4,254 leads · 160 tracked calls

Calls, emails, bookings, and website visits tracked and attributed. 62 booking requests since launch (13 March 2026). 160 calls routed through telephony with full per-call attribution since 13 March 2026. First vet meeting booked directly from Book Now within 48 hours.

4

Free websites lock clinics in

First site live — Stroud Road Vets

Fully automated clinic website generation. Each site pulls live data from the platform (hours, pricing, reviews). Zero marginal person-time. Stroud Road Vets is the first vertically integrated clinic website — proof of concept for the automated deployment pipeline. Scalable to hundreds, creating sticky dependency on our tech stack.

5

Regulatory tailwind

CMA confirmed — Orders by Sep 2026

The CMA concluded its market investigation on 24 March 2026 — legally binding Orders by September 2026. Practices must publish comprehensive price lists, disclose ownership, provide written estimates for treatments over £500, and make pricing available to comparison services. We already cover 7 of 9 CMA requirements. First-mover advantage in a market that is now being forced open.

6

AI-native distribution

ChatGPT App Store — live

UK Vet Finder + Prices is live in the ChatGPT App Store. Structured pricing data feeds directly into LLM-powered search. As AI-driven discovery grows, our dataset is positioned to be the canonical source for veterinary pricing and comparison.

The Growth Loop

This is not a linear funnel. It's a compounding flywheel that gets stronger with each turn.

Detailed Analysis

Supply side

  • 5,773 clinics tracked across the UK and Ireland — the most comprehensive vet database in the market.
  • 33,590 structured prices standardised against 239 canonical service types — the largest structured vet pricing dataset in the UK. No other platform has done this exercise at scale.
  • 2,420 clinics with pricing on site (~41.9% of tracked clinics). Corporate imports, submissions, and crawls all feed this. This has grown from ~1,200 early on and is the single largest data moat.
  • 44 claimed profiles — clinics that have actively taken ownership of their listing, all organic with zero sales effort. 94% approval rate with auto-approval when the clinic's email domain matches. Averaging ~2 new claims/week. This is the starting base for the financial model.
  • 6 clinic websites deployed via the automated sites platform (45 mins compute, zero person-time). Stroud Road Vets is now live — the first vertically integrated clinic website pulling live data from the platform.
  • 2 paying customers. Revenue model validation is the next priority.

Demand side

  • 21.0K new users and 28.1K total sessions since beta launch on 10 January 2026.
  • 8,755 trailing 30-day sessions — all organic, zero ad spend.
  • 6,660 new users in the last 30 days.
  • 4,254 total leads delivered to clinics (calls, emails, website clicks, booking requests combined).
  • 236 enquiries in the trailing 30 days, with 48 booking requests since launch (13 March 2026).

Attribution evolution — from clicks to call recordings

The depth of lead attribution has evolved rapidly, making the “pay per lead” model measurable:

1

Phase 1: Click tracking (Jan 2026)

Tracked “intent_call_click” events when users clicked the clinic's phone number. Proved demand exists but couldn't prove calls actually happened.

2

Phase 2: Telephony attribution (Mar 13)

Freephone tracking numbers assigned per session via Telnyx. Calls route through our infrastructure. Full chain: session → page → number lease → call event → clinic. 160 calls tracked, 143 answered.

3

Phase 3: Call recording + AI lead scoring (Mar 2026)

Calls are recorded (with consent), and AI analyses transcripts for lead quality and estimated value. We can now show the call happened, how long it lasted, what was discussed, and estimate its financial value to the clinic.

Infrastructure and cost base

  • 330 owned domains (187 published .com, rest are .co.uk redirects) across country, county, and town levels.
  • 7.6K indexed pages — programmatic town and clinic pages that Google actively crawls and ranks.
  • 2.31M GSC impressions and 42.9K unique queries — broad keyword coverage across local vet searches.
  • Running costs of ~$500/month. This is an extremely capital-efficient operation.

If we were writing the one-paragraph version:

Vet Monopoly has built the data infrastructure and distribution platform for UK vet comparison — 5,773+ clinics, 33,590 structured prices across 239 standardised service types, 2,420 with pricing on site, 330 domains, 21.0K new users, live telephony with call recording, live bookings, price comparison indicators, a ChatGPT app, and an automated website engine with the first live clinic site (Stroud Road Vets). The CMA concluded its market investigation on 24 March 2026 — legally binding Orders by September 2026. This raise funds a sales team to convert data advantage into revenue, with free clinic websites as the primary onboarding tool. The economics work: a single converted lead is worth £1.8K+ to a clinic. The technology is built. The distribution is working. The regulatory window is opening. What's needed now is the team to walk through it.
