Attribution evolution — from clicks to call recordings
The depth of lead attribution has evolved rapidly, making the “pay per lead” model measurable:
Phase 1: Click tracking (Jan 2026)
Tracked “intent_call_click” events when users clicked the clinic's phone number. Proved demand exists but couldn't prove calls actually happened.
Phase 2: Telephony attribution (Mar 13)
Freephone tracking numbers assigned per session via Telnyx. Calls route through our infrastructure. Full chain: session → page → number lease → call event → clinic. 160 calls tracked, 143 answered.
Phase 3: Call recording + AI lead scoring (Mar 2026)
Calls are recorded (with consent), and AI analyses transcripts for lead quality and estimated value. We can now show the call happened, how long it lasted, what was discussed, and estimate its financial value to the clinic.
