From the moment of speaking to Michelle and her reassuring me that my french bulldog would be in good hands , even though it was a seventy mile drive , and it turned out that my french bulldog was just loving me picking him up and putting him on my bed , and there was nothing wrong with his spine and also, it was noted that my French bulldog loves taking me for a walk instead of the other way round.It looks like I had basically been had over by a six year old frenchie but Better to be safe than sorry.... I thought it was IVDD TURNS OUT HE JUST LOVES BEING CARRIED IN A WASHING BASKET WITH HIS BLANKETS AND TOYS IN They still did all of the tests and basically made sure that it wasn't his spine and took him for a walk And.Said that he was perfect weight and also had amazing muscle tone in his back legs I was very reassured, and this is my dog after a visit to Kentdale I recommend this place so much.It really is fantastic

In November 2025, our Romanian rescue dog Nancy was referred to Kentdale after suddenly losing use of her back legs. Kentdale acted very quickly from receiving the referral, getting her an admitted and performing scans all within one day. She had a slipped disc and surgery was performed the morning after the referral was received. We could not be more grateful for the care our girl received, from every single member of staff we interacted with. We were absolutely heartbroken and were told she would have a 50/50 chance of not being able to walk again as she had completely lost feeling/use of her back legs. Thankfully, she pulled through and is recovering very well. We would 100% recommend them to anyone!

I am absolutely delighted with everything that was done for Charlie by all the team at Kentdale. From the first greeting on arrival I felt that they were kind and considerate when dealing with Charlie's situation. They were prompt in making sure that Charlie was comfortable, and had him settled in no time. A special thanks to Gemma, who was to do the op. She took me through the procedure and showed me the Xrays explaining all the while what was there and how they were going to deal with it, in doing so I felt very much at ease going forward. The team were kind enough to contact me at all stages, before and after to let me know how things had gone, and to explain what I needed to do for him on collection. Charlie has to go back in a few weeks for a checkup and I can only hope that I have been as good to him and not let down the effort put in by the Team at Kentdale. My sincerest thanks to you all

The process from referral from our vets to Kentdale was very easy and so quick to see us, infact the very next morning. We were incredibly anxious but was put so at ease when we saw one of the surgeons Graham who explained everything fully. The night staff who looked after our Stanley were so lovely and caring. From beginning to discharge was made so so easy, with as many updates as we wanted, nothing was too much trouble. The price was very good, consultation, ct scan, spinal operation, after care, medication etc...£5310 and worth every penny, from our little boy not being able to walk and was dragging his hind legs, and 3 days later hes walking and at home on the road to recovery. We can't thank Kentdale referrals enough. Highly recommend.
