I dropped by Park Hall Veterinary Clinic recently, and it’s a place that perfectly captures that "friendly village vet" atmosphere. Situated in a lovely converted building in Mansfield Woodhouse, it avoids that sterile, corporate feel you find in many modern practices, opting instead for a setting that feels much more personal and reassuring. What I noticed immediately is how much the heritage of the building adds to the experience. The clinic is housed in a structure that fits right into the historic Mansfield Woodhouse aesthetic—all sturdy stone and character. Inside, they’ve managed to balance that traditional exterior with a very professional, modern medical environment. It feels calm and quiet, which is exactly what you want when you’re walking in with a nervous pet.

Horrible attitude from reception staff. Refused care or even a microchip scan of a sick and potentially injured stray cat that I attempted to bring to them, despite their duty of care as RCVS members. Glad I stopped going here years ago and I would advice others to follow suit.

We have been with Park Hall veterinary clinic since 1978. Margaret saved the life of my very first puppy when other vets told me there was no hope. They genuinely care for the animals they treat.

Excellent veterinary service. Had a consult with Lizzie the veterinary surgeon who was fantastic with my new little puppy. She was also very informative around vaccinations and the options available. Practice was really clean and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this practice

Very nice place. Lovely Veterinary Nurse called Megan who was very friendly and polite. She seems like an absolute credit to the place. I would recommend coming here :)

Park Hall are amazing with our dog and they have been every single time. Whether it’s bank holidays and we need to get the Emergency On-Call Vet out or we’re going in for boosters they are great. As a first-time dog owner I was very cautious about who to go to with my dog but they are honestly so so nice. Prices are to be expected but the efficiency of this place is astounding. Go Park Hall Vets!❤️
