I can’t recommend Phoenix Vets in Loughborough highly enough. I took my female cat, Cookie, in for her check-up and vaccinations, and the care she received was absolutely outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the team were so kind, calm, and welcoming, which instantly put both me and Cookie at ease. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions without rushing, and treated Cookie with such gentleness and respect — it was obvious how much they genuinely care about animals. Cookie was handled so patiently, and the whole experience felt reassuring rather than stressful. It really means a lot to feel confident and supported when it comes to your pet’s health, and Phoenix Vets truly delivered that. I would recommend Phoenix to anyone and everyone — especially if you’re looking for a vet practice that combines professionalism with real compassion. George our Sprocker. was seen for an emergency appointment last week. He was welcomed and reassured by a kindly Vet. We left him in their care after he was examined and a neck wound was discovered. This was quite deep and was sutured under an anaesthetic.. They rang early afternoon to say the operation had been successful and he had come round. He was cared for and a phone call said he could then come home later Thank you PHOENIX VETS

We have recently moved vets to Phoenix vets. We are so grateful for the care of our cat. We are disabled and they come to the car to collect our cat and we hear how they talk with her. They have such a lovely manner with her and us in person or over the phone. The communication has been excellent and we are delighted with the the professional, skillful and caring approach. Plus we can get easy access to their car park too. A real bonus!

I'm so please that the Phoenix vets came into existence - being back with a lovely team, in great premises is just great. They are friendly and helpful, so knowledgeable, calm and reassuring. You are always greeted warmly when you arrive and they make such a fuss of dogs and puppies (not so easy with a cat in a plastic crate but I'm sure they would if they could!) The cat waiting room is such a good idea, away from the noise and hubbub of the busy reception and dogs.

I have owned dogs for 30+ years and this is by far the BEST vets ever! Jess is very anxious in the vets and has been having social visits, this was the first medical visit since having them and both Julie and Emily were absolutely amazing with her. Definitely recommend them.

I can’t thank Phoenix Vets enough for their incredible care. My budgie, Rico, was extremely sick—puffed up, tail bobbing, and vomiting—and I was frantic trying to find a clinic that could see her as an emergency. After calling numerous places to check her up with no luck, I reached out to Phoenix Vets, and they welcomed us without hesitation. The vet, Carol, was beyond kind and compassionate. Even though her shift was supposed to end at 1:30 pm, she stayed an extra 30 minutes to examine Rico, despite not being a bird specialist. She carefully checked Rico, prescribed Baytril and antibiotics, and gave clear guidance on care. Thanks to her attention and expertise, Rico has made a full recovery and is back to her cheerful budgie self! Carol and the team at Phoenix Vets went above and beyond in a time of crisis, showing genuine care for animals and their owners. I am so grateful for their kindness, professionalism, and dedication. They truly saved Rico, and I can’t recommend them enough.

The best vets! A few experiences with Phoenix vets and all are positive. They really went above and beyond for us this time though when our bunny Moose had a massive fit. The thing that sets this vets apart from the rest is the compassion and doing what is best for the animal (they really understand them). They quickly realised Moose was stressed and wanted to be with us, they brought him straight over to us. Julie the vet was outstanding, talking to Moose through everything and keeping us and Moose calm. We have been to vets where the pet has been kept in, this has made them worse through stress and we have had to demand the pet back. Phoenix vets understand the animals and do what is best to keep stress levels etc to a minimum. All of the staff (nurse, receptionist etc) were amazing and so kind and we can't thank them enough. Then it came to the bil... Which was only a fraction of what we expected :) Thank you for helping us and being great!!

I changed to Phoenix Vets early this year, and can’t praise the staff and service enough. Every member of staff my pooch and I have met, have been super friendly, and more importantly, human! Julie is an absolute god send, so understanding and patient. Peggy, my Frenchie, is in great hands. Thank you!

What a lovely veterinary practice. So helpful...really warm welcome... & great service. It was Maverick & our first appointment here, & we came away really happy that we had chosen Phoenix Vets, & confident that Maverick (our chinchilla), will be well looked after, should we ever have to visit again.
