The Harrogate Vet

I would definitely recommend this practice. I was booked in with Joanne and have seen her before with my 16-year-old dog. She is incredibly kind, compassionate, and attentive, always taking the time to listen and understand my dogs’ needs. Her level of care is exceptional, and she is without a doubt one of the nicest vets I’ve ever come across. The rest of the team are always very welcoming. It’s also helpful having the two practices for convenience as well.

We had to have our beautiful Springer, Dottie put to sleep yesterday and Sean(?) the Vet couldn’t have been kinder. He explained he thought we were making the right decision and had never seen a 15 year old Springer. Also let us know every step of the procedure as we said goodbye to our beautiful girl. The expertise and care from all members of the team is exceptional. We have had to deal with difficult admin of moving pets to Australia and Harrogate Vet were so on top of everything and took so much care taking bloods from our very nervous dog. We've taken our cat for mystery illnesses before and they take the time to examine and diagnose and talk through treatment plans. I've been to a handful of vets over the years with both the dog and cat and Harrogate Vets is the best by far.

Having had no luck with another local vet, we rushed our cat who was having extreme difficulty breathing over to the Harrogate vets. Straight away, they knew exactly what was wrong rushing for a scan and got her immediately on everything she needed: drips, medication, and a drain into her chest. All the staff are extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. They kept a really good eye on her and everyone bonded and fell in love with our little Tigerlily. I can’t say enough good things about them!

Honestly incredible service, we unfortunately had bad news about out beloved Peggy-Sue but the team at Ripon Way were so kind and patient and made a helped us through our loss. They even sent flowers and a card and allowed us to spend some final quality time with our cat. Nothing was too much trouble, they genuinely care about the animals not just the money. Thank you so much!

V. Prompt (was fortunate to get in within 2 hrs. Of phoning up.) Receptionist was friendly attentive and keen to engage you, and your pet with treats. Dog's water bowl was full and conveniently placed under the receptionist desk by the entrance. Vet Shaun was knowledgeable Inc. about herbal remedies, warm and approachable, immediately befriending my dog and putting her at ease. A highly recommended practice.
