VET FOR PAWS LIMITED

Hi all I am so sad to write this message as it dosent go to all the staff at vets 4 pets. As some are very nice and careing IE the reception staff are nice and friendly. We had a 7 month old puppy what had an accidend jumpeinf up her mum to get biscuit. And Dolly the pup started to walk funny after the fall so we took her to vets 4 pets in burton to see the male vet what told us it’s a inflamed leg and only saw her for 5 minutes and cost us £60 as days went on Dolly got much worse and after keep ringing and asking for advise in the end we just ended up takeing Dolly back to vets wich then we was to see adeeena wich is the manager wich went to tell us that this is a head injury and Dolly will over come it and went to put her on steroids at this point Dolly was in a bad state eyes roleing and doing the crockadile role wich adeena said is normal and it will get worse as days go on but then Dolly will get better so we listinond to the vet and trusted her and took Dolly home a2 days later Dolly had not got better and had god very very bad so we kept ringing vets for pets and they didn’t care and didn’t want to no. It got to 10 o’clock at Monday and we desided to ask other vets there oppion wich we told them dolly state and sent them pictures. Wich they immediately responded to take Dolly in ASAP so we did just that as we couldn’t sleep and Dolly was getting worse and we took her to Paul house in litchfield wich was horrified to see what we had to put up with by vets 4 pets they said if a dog is crockadile spinning then they are very unlikely to come out of this but if we took Dolly to these when it first happens we had a better chance of saveing her. They also said Dolly should of never been sent home as it is animal cruelty. Unfortunately we had to put Dolly down there and then to put her out of pain even tho we was Willy to pay whatever it cost to save her it was just to late. Unfortunately adeena just wanted our money and to get us in and out with not a care in the world about our pup and us. This is very sad that these people are getting away with this. And ino it’s not first time after sharing with friends we heard other story’s about bad vetting here! it’s a PET SHOP NOT A VETS THEY ARE EMPLOYING ANYONE. Plead miss this I DO NOT WANT ANYONE TO GO THROUGH WHAT ME AND WIFE HAVE JUST GONE THOUGH . Even now we have made a complaint and 4 weeks later still had no reply they just want your money guys please be carefull MISS YOU DOLLY LOBE YOU FORVER BABY XXX 1

Do not use Pets at home that’s there. I have took my dog twice on two occasions and he said there was nothing wrong with her. I told him she had stopped eating. Absolutely disgusted with the vet. He didn’t seem bothered. That’s all they were bothered about. was charging me £45 per visit then asking me if I wanted a blood test which cost £160 I’ve now found it cheaper somewhere else he did not have a clue the vet has dark hair curly with a greyish dark beard his first name begins with U do not go near him he only told me what I wanted to hear and that wasn’t good enough. My dog has a puppy and my dog doesn’t look well. He said he couldn’t give her anything but I’m afraid to say that’s rubbish you can. I’m now taking it to my own vet and I will update you with this. I’m also going to complain to the head office do not use these Vets. Nobody seems bothered there. The receptionist are okay but nothing to shout about. I feel that’s all they wanted was my money and that was very important to them. By the way they don’t give you a receipt. They are unprofessional all of them there. I should be going back to complain today which is the 16th of January. They can all get ready. I buy my food from there which I’m not sure if it’s a part of the Vets and if so I’ll be getting my food somewhere else in future. Please take a note of this. This is the truth and nothing but the truth keep well away while I was there on two occasions they weren’t even busy and now can see why I managed to get an appointment the same day for both of them.

Pet hamster was poorly with eye issue, popped in via an online booking and the vet gave lots of good advice to sort the issue. Nice staff, nice service.

Wouldn’t sell us some Gerbils that they had showed my daughter as it was too late in the day (still 30 mins to closing) as apparently there was not enough time to do the paperwork and because, quote „there was a lot of information to go through”. We had to come back the next day to buy them (with my daughter crying all the way home in case they were gone the next day - of course they wouldn’t reserve them either) and guess what, there was no paperwork apart from paying, and no information given at all. Very poor service, they must love seeing kids cry. Obviously couldn’t be bothered to do their job that day.
