There is honestly nothing that I think you could do differently, from the initial call with the receptionist who made everything so smooth and easy with regards to booking, contacting my insurance and the amount of information in the welcome / info pack was super helpful, thorough and it was very clear that the pets that visit you and their comfort is paramount to you. We were greeted with a warm welcome, offered coffee from the machine and a mat for Nellie my dog. We then saw Simon for both our appointments and he was phenomenal, again he was extremely thorough, caring and put our minds at ease. He explained the procedure extremely well in a way which we would understand without being patronising. We have felt like nothing is too much trouble from everyone we encountered. The day after Nellie’s surgery we had a call from Nikki the physio to see how she was doing post op and to ensure we were happy and confident with the post op care she provided for us to do at home. We are now only 4 days post op and Nellies swelling has reduced significantly and she’s doing really well considering her injury, the pain management provided has been really good in keeping her comfortable. I honestly can’t thank you enough so far, my experience with West Midlands referrals has been the best experience I’ve ever had with a veterinary practice.

Thank you to all involved who did the operation on Bronson (Ronnie). We could not have asked for a better service. From start to finish you were very thorough and compassionate. Ronnie had the op and came home same day as he is a nervous dog. He was given amazing care whilst with The West Midlands Referral Team, this his anxiety was kept to a minimal. WM referrals were amazing from the referral from our own vet to the recovery of our dogs operation. Staff are so friendly and loved Ruby when she was there. Dumitri operated on Ruby and went through so much information and made sure we understood eveurbing before going though with it, I had 2 phone calls updating me on the day of rubys operation and have had a phone call from them to check how she’s recovering only 3 days after her op! Everything has been perfect, can’t thank them all enough

An amazing veterinarian team, absolutely brilliant! My cat Bonnie was involved a car accident and the love and treatment that she received was first class. I was kept updated daily with her progress and felt like I was able to call myself to check on her and nothing was too much trouble. Can not say enough positive things about them and will forever be grateful to everyone involved in Bonnie’s recovery ❤️❤️🐱

Lovely , clean premises . The staff were all friendly and professional and welcoming. Our spaniel had to have a cruciate ligament operated on and Chris the veterinary surgeon who we saw was very informative, showing us X-rays and explaining fully what needed to be done , how long it would take , gave our spaniel Molly lots of fuss and put us totally at ease. Chris went through all the after care with us and explained things that could go wrong. We were called after procedure to tell us everything went well and we could pick her up later. On pick up we saw physiotherapist first who gave us information for first 2 weeks and then we saw Chris again who showed us X-rays and went through what had been done. We were given paperwork on what to do and what medications to give and to book another appointment in 8 weeks (all included in one of price) for more X-rays to see how healing. Chris and team made the whole process less worrying, thank you for looking after our Molly.

A wonderful refurels practice. I wish I'd known about it before. They care about your pet before anything else. Friendly staff who are willing to go that extra mile to make sure your pet is stress free. Our dog is overly anxious who doesn't care much for vets but they treated him brilliantly during and after knee surgery. I would highly recommend west Midlands refurels. 5* Thank you!

In September 2023 and again in January 2024, our beloved Maine Coon boy underwent FHNE surgery performed by the outstanding team at West Midlands Veterinary Referrals. From our very first conversation through to our boys full recovery, they went above and beyond in every way. They patiently explained each step of the FHNE procedure and answered every one of our 1,000 questions with kindness and calm. He was treated like more than just a patient—he was family. Their nursing team monitored him attentively, reassured us throughout, and always made sure he was comfortable. They handled every detail from scheduling to aftercare with empathy and efficiency, taking the stress off us entirely. Because of their skill and compassion, our boy is thriving today.
