We've used many different vet practices in Derbyshire over the years and have found McMurtry to be the most consistent in being able to see the same vet. The quality of care and service is exceptional. It feels very 'family' orientated and so having a nervous dog, this is particularly important. We primarily use the Wirksworth practice and always receive a warm welcome. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone who is looking to develop a relationship with their vet.

I moved to McMurtry's after leaving a popular vet in Matlock I had used for almost 9 years. So pleased I did! Bethany and Chris have done a super job looking after my pets. All the staff have been lovely, compassionate and welcoming. After each visit I have left feeling reassured my pets are treated with dignity and their emotional state addressed not just physical. I just wish I had switched years ago.

Would not recommend pay a payment plan of £18 a month for flea and wormer to ring up and order it and to be told I need a consultation which I have to pay for before they will give me any because they haven’t seen my dog in so long because she hasn’t been ill all they want is your money will not be using this practice again and will be letting everyone I no of how rude you talk to your customers all this vets want is your money when it isn’t Necessary..!!!
