Medivet Crowle is part of the Medivet group (a network of 400+ practices). The practice is set up for routine consultations and ongoing care (including chronic conditions), with access to Medivet’s 24-hour emergency care; the website states a nationwide overnight emergency consultation fee of £130 for consultations between 7pm and 9am. In recent reviews, owners repeatedly mention thorough examinations with clear explanations, and several describe practical, problem-solving appointments (prescriptions issued; dew claws attended to). There’s also a clear note of friction from one owner who says a test was carried out without costs being discussed first, adding £40+ to the bill.

Vet was very helpful and relieved my panic at having to deal with a chronically ill cat. Also mentioned alternative treatment due to price being too high.

Vet was lovely, receptionist was all so lovely with my dog, but I was very annoyed that I wasn’t made aware of certain test carried out with out being made aware of the costs, in my opinion the test was unnecessary as that was the reason I needed my dog assessed, so given the choice I would have declined the test as it showed what I was all ready aware off (reason for my dogs visit) so £40+ added to my bill with out my knowledge or agreement, that I was very annoyed, sneaky I would have declined haven been given the choice

My dog had an issue with her eyes over the Easter weekend ( typical!) and I was able to seek good advice from the emergency vets at Swanland without making the journey there. They made comprehensive notes on the system so my local vets at Crowle knew what had occured.. I was able to quickly book an appointment at the local vets after the holidays and the vet did a thorough check and put my mind at rest. She and the other staff were all friendly and professional, as they always are.
