Excellent! Vet and staff. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a caring Vet who takes the time to explain things and where your dog will enjoy going.

Took my dog of 14 yrs in last year with a bad back and my new partner came with me. Not only did the vet refuse to direct his questions and comments to me, even after telling him that she was my dog and my partner wouldn't know anything about her, but he also started talking about "what's best for them can be difficult for us" and "she could go at any day". Before the bad back, she had been 100% fine. He even mentioned something about being prepared to let her go when i took her back for the vaccines! Over a year later and she's still running around like a puppy! I do not trust this man.

We drive from Scarborough to Selby Have not had good veterinary experience previously here in East Yorkshire. Mauro’s ‘Vet Care’ is a wholly Independent Veterinary Practice. He is an exceptionally highly qualified vet, vastly experienced and also a kind and lovely human. I would not choose to take Benny anywhere else, Just SO good to have a Vet we can trust & rely upon 100%💚💚💚

Jeszcze nigdy nie spotkałem tak świetnego lekarza weterynarii. Po ierwsze znakomity diagnosta po drugie potrafi dopasować lekarstwa . Mój kot mia chore oko właściwie było nie do uratowania a Pan Doktor uratował oczko kotka Rudii i zwierzak żyje a powieki oka nie otwierał. Teraz jest w trakcie leczenia dzięki Panu Doktorowi i jego super postawionej diagnozie i dopasowaniu kropli. Rudii tracił futro też go wyleczył. Kot wygląda pięknie. Od lat chodzimy z naszymi zwierzakami do Pana Doktora i na coroczne wizyty kontrolne naszej pudelki Milki oraz dwóch kotków Rudii oraz Susi. Wspaniały weterynarz oraz człowiek kochający zwierzęta. Miły uprzejmy . Polecam ,polecam, polecam. Pozdrawiam Pana Doktora

I can’t praise Mauro and his staff enough, friendly, professional and unlike some other practices the impression is it’s all about the animals not the money. One of my dogs isn’t the easiest but Mauro has so much patience with her it helps both Holly’s anxiety and mine, I wouldn’t take my dogs anywhere else

Always has so much time for you or should I say Bella, shes always happy to go as she gets spoilt rotten with treats and cuddles. all the staff are superb and so attentive. I can't speak highly enough of them.

So thorough and informative. Can honestly tell he really knows what he’s talking about and actually cares about your pets well-being unlike some other vets that care more about the money. Will always trust him with our Mila.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would, they’ve looked after both our dogs (Ted and Albert) with so much care and passion. Especially recently when Albert decided to chew on some tablets. He got really poorly and his kidneys were failing, they worked so hard on him and he’s made a full recovery. I couldn’t thank them enough for how they were with him and us.

This is the best vet in Selby by far. Saved are dog other vets said euthanize him. This vet gave him three good years. He's a brilliant vet with a different way of dealing with your pet. Thanks. **
