My dog ate a mince pie on Christmas Eve. A vet was called out and at 2am treating my dog. She was very polite and kind despite the day and hour. And the dog was fine thankfully. Happy Christmas

My niece's dog went to have a lump removed from her leg. The vet that did the op tied the stitches too tight which cut the circulation off and the leg had to be amputated. As you can imagine we have no confidence in this vets any more. A complaint has been made.

Reception staff very unprofessional. There were 3 on Reception when I arrived with my very frightened cat, one on the phone, other 2 busy but not even an acknowledgement to say ' I will be with you in a minute'. Do I sat down comfortably my cat to still not being acknowledged. I waited 10 minutes then went to reception to ask when my cat would be seen. They hadn't checked her in......wouldn't you think that between the 3 of them and nobody waiting they would have asked me if I needed help. They They began whispering between them and made me and my cat wait for another 20 minutes. I believe they were making a point at the expense of my frightened cat. Shame on them! Come on ladies, grow up and be professional, haven't you read all the negative comments on here about you. You are letting all the good vets down there who are excellent.

Lovely place staff are friendly ..just need to keep appointment times when booked in. I waited 30 mins after my designated slot. With no one saying how long I'd wait or why.. just a bit of constructive criticism.. but otherwise brilliant 👏

Our dog really hates having her claws done, but Jess was brilliant with her. She was calm, patient, and handled her so well. She also gave us some really useful advice, which I appreciated. Thank you for making it a much less stressful visit!

I have completely lost trust in Rase Vets Scunthorpe. Earlier this year my cat Maya almost died after being prescribed a medication toxic to cats. She had to be rushed to another vet for emergency treatment. While that complaint is still unresolved, I have now found out that my other cat Lilly was never microchipped, even though I paid for it during her spay on 31/03/2025. I was handed a microchip card and reassured it had been done, but scans and X-rays at another practice confirm she has no microchip at all. Their own records list a false number as if it had been implanted. To make matters worse, most of the vets at this practice are very young, newly graduated and left without proper mentoring or supervision. They are inexperienced and it shows mistakes keep happening because there is no guidance. This is beyond negligence! It is dishonest and dangerous. Pets and pet owners deserve honesty and safety, not this level of malpractice.

Brought a friends pet in for the worst possible reason, sure enough, it did not get better and unfortunately had to make the difficult choice. The staff were brilliant, kind, caring, compassionate throughout. Certainly very reassuring at a difficult time, thank you ladies!

The vets here are great but the reception staff are not. I waited 20 minutes for a prescription to be made up. When I asked if it was ready they just handed it to me in silence. It had been done almost immediately but they hadn't bothered to tell me and just left me standing there.

Our rabbit ended up getting attcked and was very injured. The vets and receptionists were very quick and did a good job stiching her up. The medication instructions were easy to follow. Only issue was the price of it all but it's the same with any place.
