We visited this practice while on holiday near Alnwick when my dog developed sore, itchy ears. They were able to offer us a same-day appointment, and everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Simon, the vet, was caring, supportive and knowledgeable. He took time to put Charlie at ease and gave him a very thorough examination. We were seen promptly, and Simon tested the ear swab quickly, explained the findings and talked us through the treatment plan. Thankfully, it was a minor ear infection. The service was excellent and very reasonably priced. It was such a relief to have Charlie looked after so well while we were away from home. Would highly recommend!

Whilst staying in Rothbury this summer, my dog became unwell with a persistant upset stomach. I telephoned for some advice and was offered an almost immediate appointment on a Saturday too. The care and professionalism of Simon, the vet on duty that day was exemplary. He was amazing with our slightly timid dog, reassuring and gave us some really good information on what to do. Our dog was much better after a few days. Thank you to everyone at Alnorthumbria in Alnwick.

Alnorthumbria Vets were brilliant when my dog, with a complicated health history, ate some raisins whilst we were on holiday in the area. Reception were friendly, calm, clear and knew exactly what actions to take to ensure we got the relevant history from his normal vet. He was seen promptly. The veterinarian was really nice, very clear on pros and cons of treatment options and she dealt with him immediately with a good outcome. Would highly recommend this practise.

Had to visit during holidays up in Bamburgh due to one pup's eye infection. Very helpful and friendly in fitting us in within an hour and helpful in sorting him out with no fuss and lots of care

An issue that we had no control over meant that Lou (the Beagle) needed a check up blood test. Can I add that the family were on holiday at the time. Thank you for being so kind and whilst we appreciate Lou wasn't too impressed having to give blood, the care we received we splendid.

Once again exceptional service at Alnorthumbria. Buddy our 14+ year malinois had a polyp growing in his ear that was starting to cause him some distress due to filling his whole ear canal. We were reluctant to have him operated on due to his age and the risks involved, but Lisa assured us and we went ahead. He was in and out the very same day and it's as if it was never there! It was like magic! Buddy is absolutely delighted! And so are we! Thanks once again for the great service from Lisa, Afonso, Richard and the reception team!

I was on holiday recently and my little dog had a sore eye after playing on the beach. I rang Alnorthumbria Vets in Alnwick who saw Bubba straightaway. Many thanks to the receptionist who sorted the appointment and the Vet who saw Bubba, checked his eye and dispensed eye drops. Excellent service.
