We’ve had several visits here over the years, and every experience has been outstanding. The team have looked after our pets with such professionalism, compassion, and genuine care. They’ve helped us through some really stressful moments and we’re so grateful to them

My first visit was a sad one, euthanasia for my beloved elderly cat. Dreaded it but as soon as we walked in , we were treated sensitively, with care and kindness from staff and the vet. This vet practice puts animals first and is sensitive toward their clients. Emma was so gently put to sleep that she didnt cry out or look in discomfort at all. This is an outstanding vet practise who I highly recommend. This practice is actually taking away the fear I had of going to a vet. I know my pet and I will be treated with respect and care at Morris & Plumley. UPDATE ! Last week I had to take my other cat to this vet due to anal scooting. My cat does not like being handled, so since I had to get him in the travel cage without the help of my beloved husband who recently died my cat, Mickey , mauled my arm. When I got to the vet and asked for a bandage as mine were soaked in blood, the vet took me to A &E, saw that i got proper care , as the vets were seeing to my cat. This practice cares about you and your pet like no other practice i have ever dealt with here in the U.K. and U.S.A. I highly recommend this practice of decent caring human beings.

While on holiday in August, my dog became ill. Morris and Plumley saw Anya within a couple of hours of ringing up. The vet (a young lady whose name I have can not remember) came out to my vehicle to see her, the diagnosis was not too good as her temperature was sky high amongst other things. She gave her painkillers to make her comfortable so I could bring Anya back to my own vets in Chesterfield. Sadly Anya went to sleep for the final time when we got back to our vets. I can not fault Morris and Plumley at all for the care a compassion they showed Anya. The next day my sons dog developed a very upset stomach, again Morris and Plumley managed to fit us in within a few hours of contacting, after seeing her they gave medication and the D&V stopped almost straight away. I 100% recommend this vets. Thank you Morris and Plumley.

We allowed our older Labrador to over do it on the first day of her holiday. She chased along Warkworth beach with a gorgeous Golden Doodle as if she was 2 not 11, but was stiff and sore the following evening 😔 Thankfully, when I rung the surgery Louise talked me through obtaining records from our own vet and booked an appointment that afternoon. The friendly vet thoroughly examined Fern (who was already feeling better) and speedily sorted some analgesia. Our home vets have always provided great care, but this practice went above and beyond to look after us all and ensure we could enjoy the remainder of our Northumberland stay. Thank you all! 😊

Morris and Plumley are the very best vets I have ever encountered, from the vaccination for life scheme to the outstanding care, they excel at it all. We were there today and they made such a fuss of our Pekingese. If you move to the Alnwick area, like we did, they offer a no fuss service to get you moved across with your dog or cat. Splendid

The vets here are lovely and great with our dog and cat. Very friendly, caring and approachable, and offer advice easily. The surgery is lovely and the outside area/garden nice and cool. The staff were friendly. Much better than the bigger corporate vet businesses.

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Dom and his fantastic team for their genuine care and thoughtfulness when it came to our dog Heckley. Sadly we lost him, but we could not have asked for a better vets. Everything was handled with such kindness and compassion and you can’t fake that. We are so very lucky to have you on our doorstep.
