Oak Tree Surgery appears on the Paragon Veterinary Group website (a multi-species practice stating over 80 years’ experience) and the site explicitly lists advanced breeding work such as embryo transfer, IVF and semen collection. However, the latest Google written reviews available to us are largely about a visitor-style venue (woodland dog walks, a café/tearoom, a charity shop and seeing animals like donkeys and goats), with only one recent review describing veterinary-style care (a dog being looked after while the owner was in hospital, with photo updates).

We go here regularly to walk our dog in the woodlands. It is especially suitable in this hot weather as paws are not on hot surfaces and it’s shaded from the sun. The facility is kept clean and tidy and freshly baked cakes and food available in the friendly tearoom.

I adopted my dog Skye yesterday from Oak Tree and it was obvious that a lot of thought and care is put into the adoption, we were even given a book about her detailing her training, health , and things that she enjoys and could benefit her. As well as all sorts of checks and help re insurance/ her microchip/ her vet check etc.and how to prepare for her coming home. What a lovely place and lovely people, and there is a paddock for dog exercise, a small shop and a café where we enjoyed a lovely lunch.

Absolutely great little place. The staff are very polite and friendly and do a great job in the upkeep of the animals. This place needs more funding to help expand so come on guys get on the road and go check it out.
