Catmose Vets

I recently registered with Catmose because of the great feedback i'd heard and they've already surpassed my expectations. My cat Luna is very tough to handle and previous vets wouldn't touch her but Antonio managed to give her the first health check she's had in 8 years and I was really reassured by the way he dealt with her and took the time needed to manage her. I also unfortunately had to have one of my pet rats put to sleep recently and it was handled so nicely and with genuine sympathy and care. All the staff were wonderful and it made a really sad situation more bearable. I even received a sympathy card in the post a week later and it meant the world to me. Everyone at Catmose has been lovely and they have all taken a genuine interest in my animals and given them the best treatment and care. It's a wonderful veterinary practice and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

What excellent service by Catmose Vets. We are away on holiday and needed to see a vet for some medication for our dog. We tried 4 other vets but wasn't able to get an appointment. Rang Catmose and we got lucky and saw us within 45 mins. The vet was the most friendly vet ever. Very caring got our boy to take to him straight away. Cannot recommend this vet enough. If we lived local they would become our vets.

We brought our dog Banger to Catmose Vets over Christmas when he was extremely poorly, later diagnosed with pancreatitis. After a prior overnight stay at the emergency vets, the team at Catmose met us at the door and had Banger settled into a comfy bed with his drip continued almost immediately. In such a frightening moment for us, their calm efficiency meant everything. Victor truly left no stone unturned in reaching Banger’s diagnosis. His professionalism, knowledge and kindness will never be forgotten. We are also incredibly grateful to nurse Kim, who cared for Banger as though he were her own, and to the lovely (and relatively new) receptionist whose name we unfortunately can’t remember. She regularly sent us photo updates and was always at the end of the phone with the calmest, most reassuring approach when updating us about Banger. Despite being very overprotective pet parents, we never once felt uneasy leaving Banger in their care. Every single member of staff was kind, caring and compassionate, a real credit to their profession. We sincerely hope we never have to experience another poorly episode with Banger again, but we are so reassured knowing that Catmose will be there if we ever do. Catmose Vets consistently provide an exceptional level of care and customer service for both me and my greyhound. I genuinely wouldn’t go anywhere else! After each visit, I leave feeling reassured, with clear aftercare advice so I know exactly what to do. They truly go above and beyond for both pets and their owners.

After a shambles of a misdiagnosis and treatment of our dog we got a second opinion here, thank the lord we did! An independent, throughly amazing vets, do not use or go anywhere else in Oakham if you love your babies!
