Alnorthumbria Vets is a mixed practice (small animals, equine and farm) that says it was established in 1897. The website also states they provide a 24-hour emergency service staffed by their usual team of vets, suggesting a continuity-of-care approach for urgent cases as well as routine work.
From the latest reviews available to us, owners most often describe practical, pet-focused handling: a vet nurse introducing herself to a dog before treatment, staff taking time to listen, and support during stressful situations (including care for a poorly hen and help when someone brought in an injured young roe deer).
No individual staff names are mentioned in the information provided.

The treatment our dog received was second to none. The staff were so caring from the receptionist which I must say was nicest person I have met, the vet was so kind and knowledgeable. The best thing I saw was when the vet nurse came to introduce herself to the dog fantastic and faultless

Thank you so much for caring for Mrs V, my poorly hen. You were caring, supportive, patient and genuinely cared for her and me, her panicking carer. Would recommend this clinic 100%

Very helpful people.. my son and I came across a very badly injured ' baby Roe Deer'.. which had just been hit by another car .... took the baby deer to the vet's. .but unfortunately the deer died on my son's lap as soon as we arrived.

Fantastic vets nurses and receptionists. Friendly helpful caring and they also listen! They get to know your pets and make a huge fuss over them. I have no worries at all taking my pets to these vets. I know they are in safe professional hands.
