I cannot thank the team enough for the care, compassion and professionalism they showed during one of the hardest times of our lives. A special thank you to Carolyn, who was incredibly empathetic, kind and understanding throughout. She made us feel genuinely cared for and never rushed us at any stage. Most importantly, she recognised our grief and treated both us and our beloved cat with dignity, respect and compassion. Losing a pet after so many years is heartbreaking, but the support we received made an impossible situation a little easier to bear. Carolyn explained everything clearly, gave us the time we needed, and showed such warmth and kindness throughout the process. We were also deeply touched by the beautiful paw prints, the keepsake fur clipping, and the thoughtful sympathy card. These small gestures meant so much to us and gave us something precious to hold onto during our grief. We were contacted as soon as our angel was ready to come home, which meant a great deal to us. Knowing she was being cared for every step of the way brought us comfort at an incredibly difficult time. We will always be grateful for the kindness shown to our beautiful girl and to our family during her final days. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Disappointing Experience and Serious Concerns About Diagnosis My dog developed lumps in his throat, was struggling to swallow properly, and had extremely bad breath. We were referred to the North Tyneside branch by Morpeth because they supposedly had the most advanced equipment and machinery available. After carrying out numerous tests through our insurance company, we were repeatedly told that my dog was completely fine. However, over time the lumps became larger, the smell worsened, my dog started losing energy, and he is still struggling to swallow. When I asked them to revisit the tests they had already completed, they again insisted that everything was normal. I then requested a recording of the endoscopy procedure (the camera examination down his throat), but was told it had not been recorded. I found this surprising given how much they advertise their advanced facilities and equipment. I have also spoken to another client who was incorrectly told their dog had cancer, only for a second opinion to later confirm this was not the case. I cannot say with certainty what happened in our case, but it genuinely feels as though every possible test was billed through the insurance without properly identifying or addressing the underlying issue. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend seeking a second opinion before trusting this practice with your pet’s care. We are currently in contact with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and are waiting for advice on the next steps. I wanted to post this now in the hope that it may help spare other pets — and their owners — from going through the same distressing experience.

The vets and nurses take the time to explain everything clearly and make sure Kenny is comfortable and relaxed, which means the world to me. From routine check-ups to the moments when I’ve been worried, they’ve always gone above and beyond. My cat Hugo absolutely loves his visits to the vets, the staff are all lovely with him, attentive and very professional. All appointments are thorough and I’ve always felt my cats health is in great hands. The best vets! They were all absolutely amazing with our ivy and everything she went through and made her final moments extra special for her and us and il forever be grateful to you all.
